Saturday Afternoon Sermon

Turn Your Heart Towards The House of Sacrifice- Today at Family Worship Center, Crossfire Youth Pastor, Paris Ragan reads Daniel 6:10 and Daniel 9:1-22. Daniel says we have sinned; O Lord, hear, forgive, hearken, and do. He opened his window facing Jerusalem. Heaven responds to humility when we desperately cry out to God with repentance. When the Cross of Christ is lifted up, the glory, presence, and the power of God falls. His finished work must be magnified; there is no new way. Reading 1st Kings 8:1-4, King Solomon brought in the Ark of the Covenant, which was the presence of God with its blood stained altar of sacrifice. The blood stained trail is what brings the presence of God. God has so much more for His people in these last days, and He longs to do it. Solomon prayed let them pray and their hearts return to the house of sacrifice. Brother Paris reminds us, in Christ, we are alive. We need His wisdom and revelation to know what we already have. Because of Calvary, we are not what we used to be. His name is the house of sacrifice, and his glory was poured into us when we said yes to Him, and now His Spirit lives inside us. Revival culture makes us think something is to come, but we already have what we say we are waiting for. Jesus said, today is the day of salvation. Our encounter with the Spirit of God is everything we need to reach the world. He gave it all on Calvary’s Cross. The glory of the Lord is poured out when Jesus is exalted.
